Jeff Murray started in the exterminating business in 1972 as a sales rep for a national company. He later transferred into the pest management division of that company two years later and was licensed in pest management and wood-destroying insects. Due to a change in managers, he left in 1980 and started Murray Exterminating Co., Inc. in Wallace, NC.
The Best Pest Management Services since 1980
In February of 1980, when he began working the business, he was by himself, with no customers, in a used truck, with a new tank (that he still uses). However, he had a real desire to perform the best quality pest management services available while maintaining a reasonable price, and so he soldiered on.
Trained and State-Certified Pest Technicians
Lots of things have changed in the industry since he first started in 1980. It's no longer pest or termite "control." The new word is "management." We no longer "spray," we "service." We no longer hand-write service slips. The computer does it now. Many old treatment methods and chemicals have been replaced with the most modern and efficient application methods and pest management products. And Jeff no longer performs the services himself. He has trained and state-certified technicians to go in his place!

While a lot has changed, there are also a lot of essential things that have not changed. Jeff still values every customer. He always wants you to receive the best possible service available. Those of you whose property Jeff has personally serviced will remember his last comment to you before leaving: "If you have any problems, give me a call." It is still absolutely true for the company as a whole. You, the customer, deserve to get the very best service available, and if you have a legitimate problem, we want to take care of it.
